Best shoegazing band???

My vote goes to My Bloody Valentine. Or course the media elite back in the day worshipped them more than they probably deserved, but that was hardly their fault!!

Not counting their first couple of clumsy attempts at records early on, they created in just a few short EP's and 2 full length album/cd's, a template for a totally original and organic sound. Now how many bands can say the same thing? My first experience listening with heaphones to Loveless literally made me feel like I was falling deeper and deeper into a giant body of water; the water itself being the soundwaves of the music. What a trip. May we live to hear the follow up. Kevin, are you listening???
